What We’ve Done So Far: A Year of Firsts for Psychological Safety in MENA
This past year marked a pivotal moment. Supported by our exclusive partnership with The Fearless Organization, we accelerated the movement for psychological safety across MENA, laying foundations for a regional ecosystem of practitioners and future research.
Bringing Regional Leaders Together: The MENA Roundtable
On October 31st, 2025, we hosted the region’s first Psychological Safety Roundtable at Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai, gathering 18 HR and organizational leaders from across MENA. Together with Sander Hoeken, Co-Founder of The Fearless Organization, we explored:
How psychological safety is interpreted in multicultural MENA teams
What regional leaders need from measurement and data
Where global research aligns with (and differs from) local experience
Why psychological safety is seen as important—but rarely measured
2. Launching the First MENA Certification Cohorts
In November, we launched the first regional cohort of the Fearless Organization Practitioner Certification, bringing together more than 10 HR, Organizational Design, and coaching professionals from across the region.
Earlier this year, we also ran a private certification with Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), graduating three certified practitioners from the Employee Counselling department.

3. Sharing Regional Insights on a Global Stage
At Psych Safety Day 2025, our Founder and CEO Marilyn Zakhour joined Harvard Professor Amy Edmondson and global experts, bringing a MENA lens to the panel Psychological Safety Across Cultures. More than 10,000 respondents contributed to the global research shared at the event.
4. Launching the First Psychological Safety Hub for MENA
We introduced psychsafety.me, the first regional knowledge hub dedicated to psychological safety, offering:
